SHOW AUGUST 3RD AT THE MONARCH TAVERN

I Wanted to do a show before I leave to New York to celebrate LOVER. There’s also some new material I wanted to share hehe. I think it’d be a great opportunity to experiment with performance and gather all my friends together. My friend johnwayn will be opening the night off and we’ll go from there. AUGUST 3rd at the Monarch Tavern, doors open at 7pm. First 20 tickets get to bring a friend for freeeeee. I’ll be sending out more reminders about this as time goes on but here’s the link to buy tickets!!

Guys it was soooo awesome. Like that was my first show and the high of finally getting to share my music was something I was not prepared for haha. Truly to have been able to share my music in a space like that has given me a new sense of confidence and reminded me of why I am doing it. I’ve been struggling a lot with comparison and marketing, but when I think back to that night I remember that numbers could never quantify the energy and love that was shared. And so, I’ll hold that with me as I move to New York..

MOVING TO NYC!

Yes! I’m moving to New York guys!! I got accepted to Berklee NYC’s Masters of Songwriting and Music Production! I hope to go there and make DREAMER, the sequel to LOVER! I’ve been really inspired by The Beatles and The Beach Boys lately, so we’ll see what comes out of it! I’m almost too excited, like to be fortunate enough to be able to focus solely on my dreams in the city where dreams are made of, are you kidding me!? I can feel the energy pulsing through my veins as I write! I’m grateful to my parents and to God for opening the doors for this to happen. I’m really proud of my application video so I’ll link it here if you’re interested!

Deactivation.

Yes, I’ve deactivated. What a way to shoot yourself in the foot as an artist, and yet I feel it is God’s way of asking me to trust Him. I’ve tried to ignore this whisper for about 2 months, there’s no doubt that God wants me to do this. I will obey, and we shall see what it was all for. I’m not sure when I’ll return, but in the meantime this email list will be my means of communication!
